HSS
Services for Housing Stabilization
We at Carestone Home Care accompany our clients on every stage of their journey. We get through obstacles that could have previously prevented one from finding a home.
- Help you fill out the documents needed to be eligible for Housing Stabilization Services
- Help our client to determine their housing needs, aspirations, and strengths, including any cultural constraints or preferences
- Support finding and requesting benefits
- Support with applications and searches
- Assistance with the tenant screening process
- Applying to have documents erased or obtaining appropriate accommodations
- Budgetary assistance
- Understanding and arranging a lease assistance
- Encouraging and facilitating cultural practices and understandings with potential tenants and property managers
- Putting together any necessary adjustments for an adaptable home for the individual
Carestone Home Services will enroll the person with DHS after the referral is made. Once the person is cleared for services, an intake meeting will be scheduled by a member of the Housing Stabilization team.
